Driver Education FAQs

General Information

What happens if I have to miss a scheduled classroom time?

The state of N.H. allows for up to 4 hours missed classroom time to be made up in case of some type of emergency. School activities, sports, work, or family events are not considered emergencies.

Please discuss this with the instructor if this issue ever arises.

After taking 4 hours of missed classroom time, the student cannot miss additional time for any reason.

What age can a student take the course?

A student may take the driver education course at the age of 15 years and 9 months.  For example, if your 15th birthday occurs on January 13, 2001, you can sign up for a course beginning on Sept. 13th or after.

Where do students meet for drive times?

Students will be picked up and dropped off at the school.

What happens at the end of the course?

When the classroom portion and driving times are completed, we will issues a certificate of completion (Green Card) as well as a evaluation of the student's driving capabilities and some areas to continue to work on.

From the DMV website you can print Application (DSMV 450),  Parent Permission form (DSMV 38), and the 40 hour Parent/Student form (DSMV 509) need to obtain a license.

What is the refund policy?

A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required to hold your spot in the course.

A full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit, is available up to the second day of class. If you feel that within the first 4 hours of the course this is not the program for you, you will receive a refund less the deposit. After the initial 4 hours, there are no refunds available.
